Funeral Directors Convention and Expo

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2024 Funeral Directors Convention and Expo, hosted annually by the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association.

From September 16 to 19, 2024 the association and its partners:

• Trained 14 individuals who became Certified Celebrants through Insight Books
• Presented four Mandatory Continuing Education seminars
• Hosted six elective seminars with speakers discussing topics such as natural organic reduction and modern airbrush embalming techniques
• Provided four social events such as Yacht Rock Night with live music, cocktails and refreshments
• Supported students and funeral directors with a dedicated professional networking event, Network Bridge
• Honored 13 members who died the previous year at the annual Service of Remembrance
• Provided 65,000 square feet of exhibiting space for nearly 100 sponsors and companies
• Raised nearly $2,000 in donations to the New Jersey Funeral Service Education Corporation from individuals who took advantage of our pop-up barbershop
• Ceremonially swore in our newest President at the annual General Session business meeting and more
