Convention 2025 September 16-18, 2025
Mark your calendars for September 15–17, 2026 so you can attend this year’s Convention.
The New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association has begun planning its annual Convention located once again at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. The Hard Rock is currently under renovation and will have upgraded overnight rooms and additional food and beverage offerings in time for September.
With a bustling Exhibit Hall, brand new social events and elective seminars covering pressing industry topics, there will be countless opportunities to network and socialize with your fellow funeral directors, earn CEUs and prepare for the changes coming to the deathcare industry in the year ahead.
Convention offerings will include six elective continuing education sessions covering topics such as embalming, natural organic reduction and mortuary law.
There will be two opportunities to visit the Exhibit Hall floor and meet old and new vendors with goods and services for both individual funeral directors and funeral home operations.
We will also provide plenty of chances to socialize with additional evening gatherings and fun.
Looking for a way to learn in-person? The New Jersey Funeral Service Education Corporation will provide on-site courses in Ethics, New Jersey Law and New Jersey Preneed. The seminars will address recent legislation affecting funeral service, including natural organic reduction and funeral licensing updates. This will be offered the day before Convention programming begins, Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Separate registration is required.
