Full-Time Funeral Director - Union, NJ

We need a full-time funeral director to join our staff. After 36 years, someone is retiring. We are family-owned and operated in Union County. We offer excellent salary and benefits.

Benefits:

• 40 Hour weekly schedule with Thursdays off and every other weekend off
• 7 holidays with paid overtime for working every other holiday.

Requirements:

• Valid NJ funeral directors license
• Valid driver’s license
• Perform all aspects of funeral directing that include but are not limited to the following:
• Good language skills, computer skills and phone manners
• Excellent prep room skills
• Ability to make funeral arrangements with attention to detail.
• Work with families in a compassionate and competent style.
• Interact with clergy, cemeteries, doctors' offices and other vendors with professionalism.
• Familiar with EDRS to complete death certificates.
• Perform other funeral home clerical responsibilities when required.
