All seminars are accredited through the New Jersey Funeral Service Education Corporation. Seminars are evaluated by its Board of Trustees to ensure quality and relevance to funeral service. Seminars are submitted for accreditation to the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, the New Jersey State Board of Mortuary Science and other state licensing authorities.

Preregistration Discount Deadline

Preregistration discounts, when available, are honored up to three business days prior to the seminar unless specified otherwise on the promotional materials.

Early Check-In

In-person attendees are to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the published seminar start time to allow sufficient time for check-in and badge pickup at the registration desk. Photo ID required. Webinar attendees should be connected to the session link at least 10 minutes prior to the published webinar start time to allow resolution of any audio, video, or connectivity issues.

Registration confirmations will be emailed to all who pre-registered. Those who do not receive confirmation at least one business day prior to the seminar should contact the NJSFDA office at 800.734.3712.

Webinar attendees may be required to answer questions appearing intermittently throughout the session for attendance verification purposes. Additionally, webinar attendees should never exit the presentation until instructed following the conclusion of the training.

The NJFSEC will not grant CEUs to any attendee who misses more than 10 minutes of instructional time during a one-hour seminar or who miss more than 15 minutes of total instructional time during a two-hour seminar. No exceptions.
