Full-Time Funeral Director - Newark, NJ

The ideal candidate is a compassionate and highly motivated individual that is willing to work in a fast-paced environment with a desire to assist families in need. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to, removals, embalming dressing casketing cosmetology, arrangements, directing funerals, pre-need arrangements (specifically Choices), writing obituaries, filing death certificates and other documents necessary to arrange a funeral. All aspects of the funeral business. Driving various vehicles, ability to follow directions and read a map. Lifting heavy weight. Willingness to adapt to changes during the workday and taking direction from others. Valid and in good standing NJ funeral director's license. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Computer skills are a must; Working knowledge of MS Office, EDRS, web browsers and MIMS. Starting Salary for newly licensed $75K plus benefits. Medical, dental, 401 K, paid time off and sick days. Weekly day off and every other weekend off.
