The New Jersey Funeral Service Education Corporation (NJFSEC), sole provider of continuing education for the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association, Inc. and its affiliated companies, provides a comprehensive schedule of accredited seminars presented by nationally and internationally recognized speakers throughout the year. These seminars address timely business and compliance issues and are typically available for discounted online registration.
Seminars are accredited through the NJFSEC and evaluated by its Board of Trustees to ensure quality and relevance to funeral service. Seminars are submitted for accreditation from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice and to the appropriate state licensing authorities.
The NJFSEC is a non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation.
Board of Trustees
Volunteer leadership consisting of a Board of Trustees governs the New Jersey Funeral Education Service Corporation. The Board is chaired by the NJSFDA 1st Vice President, and comprised of the NJSFDA 2nd Vice President, an NJSFDA Delegate-at-Large appointment and four additional board members.
